Turkey, Peas and Squash

Makes 3 servings

Recipe by WCAE

Ingredients

3/4 cup ground turkey (organic - free range if possible)

1 cup organic frozen peas

1 cup organic butternut squash diced into 1/2" squares

1 tsp dried organic parsley

1/3 cup organic diced carrots

Add any supplements, per your vets dosage instructions, when food has cooled to room temperature, as heat may destroy their efficacy.

Cook your ground turkey until it reaches 165 degrees internal temp. Cook frozen or fresh squash and add peas until peas are crisp green and not mushy and squash is done.

Combine turkey, squash, peas, uncooked diced carrots in a bowl and season with parsley.

Combine thoroughly until turkey is evenly distributed throughout dish. Cool to desired temperature and serve.

Variations: Replace turkey with wild salmon, chicken whitefish or beef.

Natural Flea Repellant Peppermint or Lavender Water

Essential oils are natural flea repellants and peppermint works ideal for this task without the use of harsh chemicals.

You simply mix this with water to impart a fresh clean scent to puppy's bedding and other fabrics.

1/2 tsp peppermint oil (or lavender oil)

1 oz vodka

16 oz distilled water

Place ingredients into a spray bottle and shake well to mix.

Shake before each use.
